- Please have students login to www.pearsonrealize.com to complete assignments assigned by their teacher online by March 27. Students should know their usernames and passwords. If they don’t remember, please have them email their classroom teacher.

- In the Journeys textbook, students should:
2) Read “Dog of the Sea Waves” on pgs. 312-329. Complete the Write About Reading Response on pg. 333 on lined paper or a shared Google Doc with your teacher. This should be a detailed paragraph with text evidence.

- Login to www.brainpopjr.com. The username is columbusgrade3 and password is medford1. Type “pushes” in the search box. Select “pushes and pulls”. Watch the video. Then, complete the “hard quiz” (tab under the video) and “write about it”. The “Write About It” can be completed on lined paper or a shared Google Doc with your teacher.
- If you do not have internet access, observe the weather each day and keep a weather log. Include the temperature, precipitation (rain?) and conditions (sunny, cloudy).

- If you do not have online access, think about the community of Medford (parks, friend’s house, restaurants) and record your favorite and least favorite parts of the city. Explain why you feel this way.
- Interview families members and friends who live both in and out of Medford. Then make a T chart or Venn diagram to compare and contrast the way life in their community to life in Medford. Interviews can be completed by the telephone.
- Create a historical timeline of the important events in YOUR life. Write the timeline on paper.
- Watch Liberty Kids episodes on Youtube about American Revolution.

- Practice how to form the lower case cursive letters you have been taught in class.
